Why did you decide to pursue a career in property?
I am particularly interested in property development and I believe that selling real estate is a stepping stone to my dream goal. I love working with people and what better way to focus on relationship-building than being a real estate agent?
What do you find to be the most enjoyable and the most challenging aspects of the job?
The one aspect I truly enjoy is the number of new people I meet in a day and the process of how they broaden the way you think. This is also the most challenging part of being in real estate, though, as the true nature of people manifests itself when it comes to money and business.
What characteristics, in your opinion, make for a great estate agent/broker and why?
To be able to do everything you do with the utmost joy and not allow the market to break your motivation and the way you treat your clients.
What are some of your career goals?
I want to achieve my goal of being part of the ownership of an Engel & Völkers shop. I also want to be the top agent in my canvassing area within the next six to eight months. Eventually, I want to be one of the top 10 Engel & Völkers agents in the world.
