The SA Property Investors Network (SAPIN), South Africa’s leading property networking platform, will be hosting a free webinar covering the hidden costs of death for property investors. The webinar aims to educate and add value to anyone involved in the property industry, by shining a light on common, but not always known pitfalls, that can cost an individual their livelihood.

The webinar will cover the hidden costs that property investors may be unaware of when it comes to death and how they can protect themselves, their portfolio and their loved one’s from losing wealth and inheritances.

Partnered with SmartWill, a personalised online wills platform, the SAPIN webinar will provide insights into the importance of wills, the cost of death, estate planning and structuring, planning and how to mitigate all the risks involved.


Host: Jade Barkhuysen
Jade is a property investor, commercial property broker, coach and entrepreneur.
Jade has a passion for the property industry including the education of aspiring property investors. In 2019, Jade was nominated as one of the top 10 finalists in the SAPIN Investor of the Year Awards.

Guest Speaker: Zale Hechter
Zale is the managing director at Cliqtech, the creators of the SmartWill platform.
Zale started his career as a lecturer and academic coordinator at Varsity College. In 2009, he started a digital company with the goal of making the administration of Estates hassle free. Last year, Zale launched a new company Cliqtech, with a direct to consumer online Wills and estate planning product called SmartWill.
