Jacqui Harrison

Why did you decide to pursue a career in property?

I have always been interested in various properties and real estate. Finding the right home for a family – what more could you ask for? I never thought I would be able to become a real estate agent until I sent my CV through to RE/MAX One Hundred.

What do you find to be the most enjoyable and the most challenging aspects of the job?

The most enjoyable aspect has to be the environment and the people with whom I work. The most challenging aspect is finding stock, but hard work pays off.

What characteristics, in your opinion, make for a great estate agent/broker and why?

You need to be a people’s person, an extrovert, self-motivated and driven. You need to stand your ground and always keep an ethical business flow.

What are some of your career goals?

I want to be ‘that face’, so that when people see my marketing and advertising they know that I’m an ethical agent, and I want to always make sure to assist my clients in meeting their needs. I would also like to become one of the top 10 agents in Gauteng.
