RE/MAX SA
RE/MAX Southern Africa has introduced an artificial intelligence-powered room visualisation tool on its website, allowing users to digitally alter listing photographs by changing finishes such as flooring, paint colours and countertops. The feature, developed in partnership with Roomvo, enables prospective buyers to compare original images with alternative styling options directly on the listing page.

Tools of this nature aim to address a long-standing limitation of online property searches, where buyers often struggle to interpret unfurnished or dated interiors and assess renovation potential before viewing a property in person. By enabling interactive visual changes, agencies are increasingly attempting to shorten decision-making cycles and improve listing engagement.
According to Adrian Goslett, CEO and regional director of RE/MAX Southern Africa, the intention is to help buyers better understand a property’s possibilities while giving sellers a clearer presentation of their homes. He says the company believes it is the first real estate website in Africa to implement the technology.
