SAYIPA and the National Property Forum unite to empower the next generation of property professionals

National Property Forum

On Monday, the 9th of December, the South African Youth in Property Association (SAYIPA) and the National Property Forum (NPF) announced the formalisation of a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

According to Leo Mlambo, president of the NPF, this collaboration marks a significant step towards empowering and uplifting the next generation of property professionals in South Africa. The MOU will focus on fostering innovation, education, and career development opportunities within the property sector. The NPF strongly believes that the future of the country and the industry belongs to young people. We therefore are excited that SAYIPA, which represents young, dynamic property professionals, will collaborate with NPF, a leading platform for industry leaders, to create pathways for youth to gain critical insights, skills, and exposure to the broader property ecosystem.

Key objectives of the partnership include:

  • Promoting knowledge sharing: Facilitating workshops, webinars, and mentorship programs aimed at equipping young property professionals with industry-specific skills and knowledge.
  • Career development: Providing networking opportunities and career guidance to help young professionals enter and thrive in the property sector.
  • Driving transformation and inclusion: Ensuring that youth from all backgrounds are given equal opportunities in the property industry, with a focus on inclusivity and broad representation.
  • Innovative industry solutions: Encouraging collaboration on forward-thinking property projects that address both current and future challenges facing the sector.

This MOU represents a shared commitment to nurturing talent, driving growth, and ensuring that the property industry remains dynamic, inclusive, and sustainable. Both NPF and SAYIPA are excited about the possibilities this partnership holds and look forward to working together to support the growth of the property sector in South Africa.
